Holly Mattson is President of Recruiting at Fairway Home Mortgage, leading the company's national effort to onboard top mortgage producers. She has 32 years in the mortgage business and 11 at Fairway, where she has served as VP of TPO Production, VP of Branch Business Development, and SVP of Sales and Recruiting. She is a past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama.
Since this is my site, I will keep this one short and let the full bio do the rest.
Thirty-two years in the business. I started at Regions Bank, moved into production leadership at MortgageAmerica, and have spent the last eleven years at Fairway.
Eleven years, most of the seats. VP of TPO Production. VP of Branch Business Development. SVP of Sales and Recruiting. Now President of Recruiting, leading Fairway’s national effort to bring on top producers, teams, and branches. I know the platform because I helped build the teams that run it.
Outside Fairway. Board of Directors and past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama. B.S. in Finance from Auburn University at Montgomery — where the spreadsheet habit started.
The number I am proudest of. Last year, 174 loan originators returned to Fairway after stints elsewhere. That one says more about how we recruit than anything I could write.
