Where is Fairway headquartered?

Madison, Wisconsin is where it started and where the headquarters still is. Steve Jacobson opened Fairway’s doors there in April 1996, with a name suggested by his childhood best friend, Randy Cross. Thirty years later, the company is still run from Madison.

Carrollton, Texas is the second corporate headquarters, supporting Fairway’s national operations.

Everywhere else is branches — across the country, in markets large and small — under a single license footprint covering all 50 states.

Why I bring up Madison so often: it explains the culture. Fairway grew up as a hometown lender in a city where service is how you keep your name, then scaled that standard nationally without watering it down.
