Joining Fairway
How long does it take to move to Fairway?

Holly Mattson President of Recruiting, Fairway
As long as you need. There is no deadline and no expiring offer. Mechanically, a move can be timed in weeks once you decide; practically, I have conversations that stay warm for years before the timing is right. You pick the window, usually around a slow stretch in your pipeline, and the transition team builds the schedule around it.
Two different clocks, so two answers.
Your clock: unlimited. I do not run offers with expiration dates, and I do not “create urgency.” Some of the best originators at Fairway talked to me for a year or more before moving. You decide when it is time.
The mechanical clock: weeks, not months. Once you say go, licensing transfers, systems, email, CRM import, and your website run in parallel. The transition team’s job is to collapse the gap between your last funding there and your first funding here. See what happens to my pipeline.
The smart move: time it around your pipeline. Because nothing is rushed, you can schedule the switch for a natural lull — after a heavy closing month, not in the middle of one.
Branch and team moves take a bit more planning, mostly around licensing and leases, and we plan those with you. See can I bring my whole team.
If you want a realistic week-by-week for your state and your book, ask me — that part is always specific to you.
Still have a version of this question that's specific to you? Ask it. Holly answers personally, confidentially, usually the same day.
